Altinkaya (Sunset) Beach - Altinkaya beach near Kyrenia is perhaps the ideal family beach in North Cyprus. Its golden sands sweep down to a gentle shelf of shallow water, ideal for little ones to paddle it. In fact, the water is so shallow that adults can wade across to Golden Rock, a small island that lies at the mouth of the bay, and shelters the beach from the sea beyond. The Sunset bar and restaurant offers drinks and snacks all day – you’ll find it at the end of the bay.

Kyrenia Castle - Kyrenia has many places to visit and a beautiful old harbour  with many restaurants and shops.

Famagusta

Founded in 300 BC on the old settlement of Arsinoe, Famagusta remained a small fishing village for a long period of time. Later, as a result of the gradual evacuation of Salamis, it developed into a small port.

Turtle Beach (within walking distance) Alagadi beach has the longest stretch of beach on the coast, and for once it’s also public beach that locals and tourists alike can enjoy. Behind the beach, the Five Finger Mountains rise up to provide a wonderful view even when you are not looking at the sea! Alagadi beach is one of the major beaches in Northern Cyprus where the loggerhead and green turtles come to nest, and so is sometimes called "Turtle Beach".

Bellapais

Bellapais is a pretty village set high in the Five Finger

Mountains of Northern Cyprus. Its most famous site is

the Bellapais Monastery, sometimes called the

Bellapais Abbey. The name Bellapais probably

derives from the French “Abbaye de la paix”

meaning ‘Monastery of Peace’.
